Identity in Christ

As part of our long term vision for the family discipleship plan, we aim to incorporate a middle school plan that consists of teaching students how to apply biblical theology into everyday life. The middle school years can be a trying time as students navigate a season of finding their identity through questions like "Who am I? Where do I fit in? Where am I going?" The vision for the middle school plan is to help students find answers to these questions through God's word and as a result, find their identity in Him as an image bearer of Christ. (Col. 3:17)

As we continue to pray for the growth of our church and the Lord's will to be done through Risen Life, we encourage parents of middle schoolers to use these family guides below as a resource in the home throughout the week to teach and discuss important themes of identity in Christ. Additionally, we encourage all middle schoolers to attend the corporate worship service with their families. Using this guide Middle School Sermon Notes, students can follow along in the service, take notes, and continue to learn. In addition, parents can encourage their students to incorporate a daily quiet time discipline into their schedule and use this Bible Study Guide as a tool for deeper understanding of God's Word.
