Purpose in Christ

As part of our long term vision for the family discipleship plan, we aim to establish a high school plan that incorporates biblical theology and practical applications to help students dig further into why Christianity is different from other belief systems, how the Gospel gives us purpose, and how they can share this message with others.  High school is a defining time where students are trying to determine what their purpose is in life as they prepare for the next season of adulthood. It is a very impressionable time when students can be easily influenced by the teachings of the world if they are not grounded in the Word of God. The vision for the high school plan is to help students understand how the Gospel gives us purpose and how to leverage that purpose for His ultimate glory in their lives.

As we continue to pray for the growth of our church and the Lord's will to be done through Risen Life, we encourage parents of high schoolers to use these family guides below as a resource in the home throughout the week to teach and discuss important themes of Gospel purpose. Additionally, we encourage all high schoolers to attend the corporate worship service with their families. Using this guide High School Sermon Notes, students can follow along in the service and take notes for deeper understanding. Parents can also encourage their students to reflect even further in quiet times with God using this Bible Study Guide as a tool.
